These practices result in nearly a third of transgender individuals reporting that they have been homeless and nearly 40% of all homeless youth being LGBTQ+. No one should be forced into homelessness because of discrimination based on their sexuality or gender identity.
In Congress, I will fight for policies that protect the LGBTQ+ community and end these unjust practices.
