October is #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth. 1 in 4 women experience severe physical abuse from an intimate partner in their lifetimes. This month and every month, we must raise awareness on domestic violence and honor the survivors who are bravely telling their stories.
Earlier this year, The House passed the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act - a landmark achievement in the fight to eradicate the scourge of sexual assault and domestic violence. It’s time for the Senate to act.
