Throughout the past three years, the #TrumpAdministration has repeatedly attacked science’s role in our government. This includes the role of Federal Advisory Committees, which apolitically advise the executive branch on making evidence-based regulations.

But, but I was told the Democrats couldn't do anything but focus on some witch hunt by the guy in the White House and his GOP enablers. They were--GASP--lying? Shocking. (Also thanks to all of you for introducing this important bill.)
These committees were not elected nor or they accountable to the people yet they have power and opinions. It is draining the swamp to get rid of them. They still have a voice just as I do to inform our elected officials. #DrainTheSwamp
Elected officials do not have the technical expertise, which is why these committees exist. This isn’t draining the swamp, it is just stupid.
