In the 2015-2016, 3,900,000 students dropped out of college with student debt and half of them because they could not secure funding to continue their studies. That’s why I have introduced the GRADUATE Act with @RepDebHaaland, @RepSylviaGarcia, and @CongressmanRaja.

This bill would eliminate the restriction that students can only take out subsidized loans for 3 years for an Associate’s degree & 6 years for a Bachelor’s degree that way students experiencing financial difficulty can have more flexibility & time to finish their educations.
