In a previous committee hearing, I asked what US cities are the most susceptible to Climate Change. The answer I was given was the whole Eastern Seaboard. We have to start thinking about the threat to our businesses when we talk about Climate Change.
That’s why I spoke about my bill w/ @SenWarren & @RepCartwright in @ClimateCrisis last week. The #ClimateRiskDisclosureAct would require public companies to disclose their climate-related risks to investors, so the financial risks of #ClimateChange can be fully understood.
Risk is what investors do. They can do their own due deligence.
