Today, @ClimateCrisis held a hearing on vehicle emissions. Reducing emissions from transportation is a critical part of combatting the #ClimateCrisis. To help I introduced H.R. 2025 which permanently provides tax credits for fueling infrastructure for alternative energy vehicles.pic.twitter.com/RpTWqSALqh
These tax credits would cover 30% of the cost, up to $30,000. If we want to move towards the #CleanEnergyEconomy, then we need to incentivize purchasing vehicles that use fuel sources that have far less greenhouse gas emissions like biofuels & electric vehicles.

We regularly achieve over 50 mpg during summer & at least 30 mpg in winter. Will never go back to a non-hybrid.@KochIndustries must not be allowed to destroy the alternative fuel movement.
Is there a safe and environmentally friendly to manufacturer batteries? Seems like mining for resources is just as damaging if not worse than a gasoline powered vehicle.
