This is scary. And its why we need #ClimateActionNow. It's inexcusable and unconscionable for Congress not to take bold, immediate steps to address the #ClimateCrisis.

That is why I was proud to join my Democratic Colleagues earlier this month in passing H.R. 9 - a serious first step in dealing with climate. I hope the Senate will have the courage to put the American people ahead of partisan politics and pass H.R. 9 without delay.

Get the Green New Deal passed ASAP please! I volunteered at a school in Coal Country that was trying to educate students to go into a different path besides coal. Believe me, the millennials in Coal Country are ready for Green tech. It’s their parents that are still hung up on it

If you are wondering what school, it’s the David School in Kentucky. They were royally screwed when Big Coal left their town after the coal ran out. Now this area relies on Habitat for Humanity to run their schools due to no funding.
