The Census only happens once every decade. We must get it right. The President has a Constitutional obligation to pursue an accurate count and the record is clear, by including a citizenship question it would result in an inaccurate count.
This would mean less Federal funding and less accurate Federal representation because the President wants to further antagonize and stigmatize our neighbors and friends.
This Administration has time and again used their power to implement policy that chills participation in civil society even among legal residents. Including a citizenship question plays on the fears of people that this Administration has enjoyed targeting.
