April 2nd is #EqualPayDay, the day when a woman’s earnings catch up to what a man was paid from the previous year.
On average, women are paid just 80 cents for every dollar a man makes. For women of color, the #wagegap is much larger. #EqualPaypic.twitter.com/ziKvp99CFx

You are incorrect. When you account for education, work experience, etc. there is very little difference in pay between the sexes. You should look into the research and learn more about the "science" about the supposed wage gap.

And regardless, the solution is to destigmatize being career-oriented and entering high-paying fields. Not artificially and illegally inflating salaries of part of the workforce that statistically works less: https://fee.org/articles/harvard-study-gender-pay-gap-explained-entirely-by-work-choices-of-men-and-women//amp?__twitter_impression=true …

Rep. Sean Casten helping to create equal pay. Nice job. Let's hope our next Senate is able to move on this legislation. We need to make our voices heard first at the Ballot Box.
