Today my bill, HR 1816 the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Disclosure Effectiveness Testing Act, passed out of the Financial Services Committee.

This bill has one intent- that the SEC ensure that disclosures made to retail investors are clear and concise, so every day, Main Street investors can make informed investment decisions that are right for them and financial future.

Would this apply to a 40 Act fund like RED? Have all RED investors gotten clear and concise disclosures?
