.@RepUnderwood & I introduced the Taxpayer Extension Act to give American taxpayers an additional 5 weeks (equal amount of time as the #TrumpShutdown) to file their individual tax returns for 2018. Everyone can file and extension to file later, but we still have to pay by April 15. This is only helpful if the payment due date is also extended.
