Tonight, I voted for the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act to deliver much-needed small business relief, keep Americans employed, send resources to frontline providers and hospitals, and expand COVID-19 testing.
Shamefully, Democrats blocked this vote for fourteen days, costing 4.4 million Americans their jobs in the process. I am grateful we can put differences aside to deliver for the American people, but going forward, Congress must do better. This should have happened two weeks ago.
