We often name viruses on their location of origin. Ebola Zika West Nile Spanish Flu That name says nothing about the people who live there. Shouldn’t we be calling all these diseases the “African Ebola”, “African Zika”, “African West Nile Virus”, and the “American/French/Chinese/British Spanish Flu” based on your stance that calling it the “Chinese Coronavirus” is correct?
