Last night, 233 Representatives voted to steal Social Security's $2.9 trillion surplus: http://bit.ly/2EIW66Z Thankfully, the so-called balanced budget amendment did not get the 2/3rds majority required to pass. But these reps are now on the record. RT to spread their shame!
The bill said that Congress must pass a Balanced Budget each year. It had nothing to do with Social Security. That website is false.

Unfortunately, with the history of deceit from elected officials, especially in the last 18 months, I would need to see the bill to determine what effect it might have on the Social Security system. Where might I find it?
