After reading the bill and evaluating its impact on Alabama, I voted in favor of the bill. I am confident in the Trump Administration’s ability to spend this money in a way that reflects our conservative priorities and rebuilds our national defense.pic.twitter.com/AIic71SCMS

There is no money in the bill for Planned Parenthood. The bill does include the Hyde amendment to prevent any taxpayer money from being used to perform abortions.

If
@PPFA is not defunded, then it DOES fund abortions. That's the way it works. Please stop playing word games.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -
The bill does not set aside any money for Planned Parenthood. It would be disingenuous to say this bills funds Planned Parenthood or abortions in any way.

I guess we'll see. However, it would have been nice to see my congressman vote "no." Ships could still keep coming to Austal in a cleaner bill.
