My message to Senate Democrats? Pass this funding bill, reauthorize the #CHIP program, and stop with the political games. #SchumerShutdownpic.twitter.com/NdjsSB88EI

You could have passed a clean CHIP bill months ago - a bill that your constituents relied on. You chose neither to do so, nor speak up for the people that you’re supposed to represent. Why would anyone believe you’d uphold our commitment to DACA recipients now?

Sir the GOP currently controls all three branches of government. You and your friends can't blame the Democrats for this one...

Nice to see the GOP find religion with CHIPS in the past 48 hours. It's almost like someone said to make it look like Democrats are against children. Congrats on growing a not at all confidentially timed feeling of moral outrage. 👍

Why didn’t you support a #CHIP bill totally separate from government funding bill months ago? Any shutdown rests with the #GOP

There is a bipartisan agreement that could pass both the House and Senate RIGHT NOW and it was moving forward until the President and the freedom caucus spooked your boss. Then it became "hurry up and pass something so we can blame Schumer."

Thank you for exposing the Democrats disdain for American citizens and low-income children on CHIP. Their actions are despicable! #SchumerShutDown
