Frustrating that Democrats seem intent on holding critical funding for our military hostage in an effort to advance their immigration agenda. This type of political game is what people hate about Washington.
The truth is that it requires 60 votes to pass a bill out of the Senate. That requires cooperation from Democrats. The House passed our bill months ago, but there has been no action on government funding in the Senate.

Sir, thank you for responding. However, you do not deny a bipartisan agreement was reached, but rejected. If you are at an impasse with your President, there is a way around this-correct? Attacking what you know to be truth is fraught with pitfalls.

I wasn't a party to the immigration negotiations, so I do not know if an agreement was ever reached. My point is we need to take care of government funding before we deal with immigration.
