This was not legislation. It was put through hastily through executive action. That is part of the problem here.

ah yes, you're quite correct. But my point is still valid - what about the people being taken advantage of by employers?

I think we do need to do more to help working Americans, but this was a flawed proposal w/ unintended consequences.
