It just seems to me that it would be better for both parties to stop pointing fingers and fix the immigration system so that piecemeal crap like this won't be necessary.

We appreciate the effort congressman. My niece's killer was a 19 year old illegal immigrant. No sanctuary cities involved this time, but there were quite a few times he almost got away without penalty due to his immigration status. He was convicted yesterday.

With all due respect congressman statistics show that native-born Americans commit way more crimes than immigrants do illegal or otherwise. All you're doing is fear-mongering it really gets old!
