Rep. Bradley Byrne Retweeted Steve Scalise

Every life is precious, and it breaks my heart that Democrats have blocked our efforts to outlaw infanticide. Born-alive abortions must be ended, and it is shameful some of my colleagues will not let the American people know where they stand on this.https://twitter.com/SteveScalise/status/1113056781062823937 …

You deserve to know: Where does your representative stand on stopping infanticide? I’m filing a discharge petition TODAY to bypass Pelosi & force every member to go on record & tell the American people EXACTLY where they stand on this barbaric practice. #LetUsVote #EndInfanticide pic.twitter.com/n2Zr8TYEm6

Where do you stand on separating young immigrant children from their parents on the Southern border? This is a far bigger issue than your made up "infanticide" issue.

This is a thing today, using the word infanticide ad nauseum, by direction of whom? McConnell, to distract from his "Democrats are obstructing" Trump noms? Or from Trump to distract from Dems demanding (subpoena) full Mueller report? It's not working. #InfanticideIsNotARealThing

Also, you are trying to make it seem like all these women are having "late term abortions". 91.1% of abortions happen at or before 13 weeks. 7.6% happen between 14 and 20. Only 1.3% happen after that and are for sever health issues with the mother or because baby isn't viable

Appalling that we are even discussing this. There is so much contempt for human life.

Pro-birth GOP has no ideas to support or care for the living, so they spend their times pounding away at divisive issues. Also, the 2002 BAIPA law already protects them. This is theater for a bunch of morally and intellectually vacant stooges

What anti-abortion activists don’t mention is that virtually no woman wants an abortion during the third trimester. It’s painful, traumatizing, and heartbreaking. The statistics are clear: Only 1.4% American women have abortions after the 20th week, & fewer in the third trimester
