It is an honor to once again serve on the House Armed Services Committee, Subcommittee on Seapower and Projection Forces and Subcommittee on Strategic Forces, two vitally important roles that impact Alabama.
My work on the Seapower and Projection Forces subcommittee is important to the 4000 people at @Austal_USA and the 2000 people at @HIIndustries, two shipyards that are crucial to the @USNavy's goal of a 355 ship fleet in the coming years.
And my work on the Strategic Forces subcommittee is crucial throughout the state from #Huntsville to #Troy on issues like missile defense, space reform, and our nuclear arsenal.
Alabama's role in the defense of our nation is something I take immense pride in, and I am glad to know that our great state is paving the way for a safer world and a stronger America.
