Get McConnell to allow a vote to re-open the government. Continuing resolution to fund the gov’t passed the Senate on 12/19/18 by a vote of 100-0. The House has passed 2 bills that would reopen the gov’t. McConnell won’t allow a vote on any. #MitchShutdown #TrumpShutdown
It does not have to be this way for members of the Coast Guard. I have a bill called the “Always Ready Act” which would authorize the funds to pay the @USCG.
