What a ridiculous position. Democrats are refusing to support common sense border security, all in an effort to benefit their open borders agenda. #BuildTheWallhttps://twitter.com/ChadPergram/status/1076538535212187648 …

Republicans hold a both chambers of Congress & the WH. There is no one to blame for this shutdown but themselves and Donald Trump (OK, maybe Ann Coulter). Even if they used the Nuclear Option they would not have had the votes. This is 100% on Republicans! FACTS MATTER!

Common sense would tell you that a wall is an obstacle easily overcome w/ a ladder. Isn’t your party supposed to be all about fiscal responsibility? If we can’t afford both, then we need to fund the more effective choice. If you “want wall,” increase taxes on the top 1% to get it

It is utterly RIDICULOUS that the political leadership of our country are squabbling over 2 words “the wall” and $5B while not even BLINKING at giving $800B to corporate farmers!! When will Congress start solving problems instead of creating messes and huge deficits??

It's sad, they just don't want POTUS to achieve another campaign promise. Even though they voted for the Secure Fence Act of 2006, and another Border initiative in 2013.
