If the exact same meeting with #NorthKorea happened under Hillary Clinton, the media would praise it for days. Hard to see how anyone can legitimately argue President Trump's meeting was anything but a step in the right direction toward peace and denuclearization.

We can be certain that the media would've praised Clinton for it. The question is, what would you have said?

If you've never read the United Nations report from 2014 about the egregious human rights violations and crimes against humanity in North Korea, you need to read it. I'm threading some key quotes below:

NK pledged denuclearization in 1985, 1992, 1994, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016. In agreement no commitments for inspection, transparency of existing nuclear capabilities, any mechanism of agreement for compliance. So what about this furthers peace?

Had Obama had the same meeting you’d be screaming he was weakening American leadership in the world. You trying to point out hypocrisy is hilarious.

No we wouldn’t because she would never be foolish enough to sit down with Kim. South Korea, our allie and North Korea’s neighbor is still looking for clarification on Trump ending joint military exercises. What did the U.S. get in return? I’ll wait for it, no I will not nothing!
