Started my day at ’s Veterans Day event to honor the American heroes who committed their lives to serving our nation and preserving the freedoms we hold dear.

Thank you for helping us teach these students about the sacrifices made by our veterans that have preserved the freedoms we all enjoy today! We can never forget!! I wonder how many elected officials got up early this morning - after they were elected - to speak to constituents?

It’s ironic considering our new senator wants to put these people on the streets. But here you are supporting them? Make that make sense. Our veterans and elderly deserve better.
