If the house actually passed a budget on time that could be voted and passed by 60 senators , (it can’t even get 50 vote) in the first place... you have no problems passing a tax cut in between CR 1 & CR3 in fact, CR’s hurt the military too but that didn’t bother to you then.

My spouse is a disabled combat veteran and we care about our neighbors, not just ourselves. If you want to help us, then do the right thing and pass a bill that protects CHIP and DREAMers. Do the right thing and stop using vets as political fodder.

The Senate doesn't even have 50 Republican votes for this bill, as you well know. You're down members because of health issues--at some point, you have to negotiate with the party that got more votes to get things done.
