  3. Last night the House passed a bill I cosponsored, the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Act! The Great Lakes play an important role in WI’s economic success and environmental health. The GLRI has helped Wisconsin protect Lake Michigan and our shoreline communities.

  11. I joined a group of my colleagues in the House and Senate to introduce the first bipartisan plan addressing paid family leave & supporting working families—the Advancing Support for Working Families Act. I applaud President Trump for making paid family leave a top priority.

  12. We need to secure our border. I support ’s continued focus on border security. In October, I toured the U.S.–Mexico border and met with border patrol agents to discuss ways to secure the border and fix our broken immigration system.
