.@HHSGov recently proposed the Refusal of Care rule, a discriminatory policy that will expand the ways in which the personal beliefs of healthcare providers can dictate access to care for patients — which would be especially harmful to women and LGBTQ individuals.
Patients’ needs should always come first. That is why I spearheaded an effort, w/ @RepBarbaraLee, to urge HHS to withdraw this rule immediately.
