Yesterday @VetAffairsDems @HouseVetAffairs held hearing on VA’s Caregiver program where we discussed improving & expanding the program w/ @SecShulkin & VSOs. While this program was big step forward for post-9/11 vets & their caregivers, we must expand it to help vets of all eras.

Of course we agree. This program should always have been for our most severely wounded From any ERA OF WAR The fact that 89% receive a stipend for

I have a question. How does this VA program get away with paying a Stipend to young vets under age 50 while denying our Elder disabled veterans? I've always been curious how they got around that. Thanks for supporting us all. I've been a Varegiver 40 years. Young was easy...
