@RepBrownley I can’t even get PVSD to test my 9 year old specifically FOR dyslexia in your own district. My daughter was identified as likely by her Dr & the school psychologist wouldn’t even test for it when I specifically asked for an evaluation due to suspected dyslexia.

This is close to my heart , my son has dyslexia. When he was in school,he had the hardest time w/ reading ,taking tests etc..he is so creative & has such a big heart, but the teachers kept wanting to put him in LD classes, when what he needed was encouragement & lil extra time!

Will they still be protected by this? ADA protects people with disabilities from discrimination. It also requires employers to make reasonable accommodations for qualified employees with disabilities. "learning difference"?
