For far too long, women vets have been treated as an invisible minority & their concerns have not been heard. I want to say to them: we see you, we hear you & we’re working hard to ensure that you have safe, welcoming & unfettered access to the benefits you've rightfully earned.
Thank you, congresswoman! As a vet this has not been my experience but I know that's not the same for other women vets. Thank you for taking this issue seriously. We should not have to worry about harassment when seeking medical care.
