I've long been concerned about the high number of vacancies at #VacantVA, which delays vets’ health care & access. At this week's @VetAffairsDems hearing, we discussed challenges VA faces in recruitment & retention of talented & qualified employees to meet the needs of our vets.
I'm eager to work with VA & my colleagues to forge a path forward to ensure that we prioritize filling the thousands of staff vacancies that currently exist & address longstanding staffing challenges so that vets receive the timely care & services they have earned & deserve.
