I was pleased to visit the women’s health clinic, which provides critical, gender-specific care to #womenvets. It was also heartening to see the care that the Blind Rehabilitation Center is providing to blinded vets that is vital for their quality of life & independence.
Additionally, I was delighted to learn that as a result of my efforts to expand VA’s beneficiary travel benefit to severely disabled and blinded vets, this population of vets has greater access to quality, timely, and comprehensive care at these specialty rehabilitation centers.
