I voted for the #NDAA b/c it includes a well-earned 3.1% pay raise for military personnel, important provisions to respond to Russian aggression, prevents use of military funds to pay for an unnecessary border wall & reasserts Congressional authority over use of military force.
I am also pleased that the NDAA included three amendments I authored that support @NBVCCalifornia, ensure continued funding for critical firefighting response aircraft, and address gender equity in our Armed Forces. Read more about these amendments here
