I agree. But who are "The people?" Corporations? Non-citizens? Undocumenteds? Congress needs to define this. The entire rest of the Constitution depends on it.
My favorite 3 words in our Constitution are the first 3 words: #WeThePeople.
The will of the public is the basis of our entire democracy.
But for far too long, special interests have rigged the system against everyday Americans.

The brain is still developing at age 16, that’s why they are not allowed to drink responsibly, fight in a war, or make life decisions, nor should they be allowed to vote. Take a survey, they don’t know the constitution, history, candidates. All should have this background to vote
