For months, many of my colleagues and I have demanded a robust, final conference agreement that improves the Congressional Accountability Act and better addresses sexual harassment and discrimination in Congress. I'm proud to say that this legislation passed yesterday.

The conference agreement overhauls the dispute resolution process, implements a speedy complaint process, protects employees from any form of retaliation, and holds Members of Congress — not taxpayers — accountable for paying harassment settlements.
