But there are many young people across the country, and in my district, who would like to intern but don’t have the means to do so.

While I never expected to serve in Congress when I interned for Congressman W. S. Stuckey Jr. (D-GA) many years ago, I know beyond a doubt that the experience was invaluable to me in my career and to my interest in public service and civic engagement.
