The President recently announced that he would cut pay for employees at the VA, despite VA staff already being paid less than in the private sector.
Rather than sabotaging VA’s ability to recruit & retain high-quality staff & provide our nation’s vets w/ high-quality care, the President should start filling the #VacantVA w/ qualified personnel & leaders who will ensure our vets receive the care & benefits our nation owes them
There are some who want to help but lack the necessary skills. I’d be up for going to a medical education program and signing up for a certain time period to fill vacancies at the VA if the gov’t paid for it. Any thoughts there?
