Deficit reduction and protecting the environment should never be in the same sentence (or tweet). Environmental stewardship drastically more important. Linking them plays into the GOP strategy of making them comparable.
The proposed cuts to EPA’s budget could put our clean air and water on the chopping block. We need to responsibly reduce our deficit but we cannot put the health of our communities at risk.
