Lead paint was outlawed in the 1960s. I did my painting apprentice under my father and remember having to scrape lead paint wherever we found it before repainting. How is it Utica still has this problem? This sounds like pork to me.
No child should be exposed to lead paint in their homes, where they play, or where they learn. I fought to ensure Utica has the resources they need to mitigate lead hazards across our community.
