I constantly hear from Upstate New York families about the rising costs of healthcare, worried about how they will pay their medical bills. We can't go back to a time when insurers could deny coverage or raise costs for people with pre-existing conditions. (1/2)

Key to any healthcare reform is oversight for the healthcare industry to make sure that necessary services/equipment/medicine is not being exploited for profit. Exorbitant costs for necessary treatments are akin to extortion.

Its great under ACA to pay premiums & deductibles that someone making 50K a year to spend more than 15K in healthcare before the plan pays bills. Costs are every year under the ACA !
