Your staff member was unable to explain how repealing the SALT deductions and limiting the mortgage interest deduction helps your constituents. Said he would get back to me after he asked you but never responded. Still haven't heard an explanation from you.

I raised the same issue and Fitzpatrick ignored me, sending a form letter full of rhetoric that ignored the SALT issue. Looking forward to supporting his primary challenger

Cannot see how 83% of this tax bill going to the top 1% helps the working person in any way. If you're referring to trickle down economics, it's been tried various times since the 1920s and guess what? It's been proven to be a farce. Shame on all who voted for this debacle.

The GOPs $1.5 trillion deficit from tax reform is hypocritical. Your older and younger constituents are not getting reform. Corporations are.

Tax reform *could* have been good for the economy - both biz and working class. But *this* bill that you voted Yes for 3x is NOT. You give the mega-wealthy champagne and try to get the real families and voters of your district to be grateful for crumbs. We see you in #18938 #pa08

Do you seriously think that this has nothing to do with the Justice Department suing to block their $85.4 billion bid to take over Times Warner? Geez, I thought you were smarter than that. $200 million is pretty cheap "good will" in their corporate grand scheme of things.

Actually, when you take thousands of dollars out of your constituents’ pockets, you hurt business. Particularly local business that receive a lot of discretionary spending. Of course, you haven’t worked in private sector and wouldn’t know how that works

I still don't see much defense of the FBI on this page. Pretty cowardly for a former FBI Special Agent & Fed Prosecutor to sit back and keep quiet while the tRUmp crime family trashes the agency. But that's gutless Brian Fitzpatrick. MAGA!!🇷🇺 #ProtectMueller

This bill insults the American middle class. No amount of anecdotal evidence like this will justify it. If you really wanted to give middle class relief, just give them more money. Don't give it to billionaires & say it will all trickle down to Americans. Only a pittance will

I can’t help but wonder if you truly believe that this is the magical first time that trickle down economics will succeed, or if you are only trying to justify toeing the party line.

You are half right. It empowers American businesses. Workers, not so much. Where is the empowerment? Real worker power would never be tolerated by your corporate masters.

This was NOT tax reform, which is why the majority of Americans were against the bill. Tax REFORM would have involved improvements in everyone's situation. What you did, admittedly, was what your donors told you to do-enrich them and take for yourselves where you could.
