With over 200,000 jobs created in August alone, today’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows the largest increase in wage growth since 2009. Our economy is ready to break out of its decade-long slumber.https://cnb.cx/2wSzO1E

Yes wage growth has surged to 2.9%. Exactly the same as inflation which is 2.9%. Rising gas prices, rising interest rates. Show me the net benefit. Nice try.

The working people are not better off in this economy, only the rich and big corporations are!

Decade long slumber? It’s been eight straight years of steady growth, although little of the benefit has gone to working people rather than the investor class.

While it is great of the continued growth, this has been a steady growth for 96 months now. To say it’s been “in a slumber” is simply gaslighting. As a constituent and having met you, I thought you were better than this. Disappointed you are stooping to same tactics as many.

Spot on...this is not some kind of miraculous recovery due to Trump’s policies. Disingenuous cheerleading aimed at low information voters.pic.twitter.com/iY3YhK6DPq

Please stop lying. While this is great news, no need to pretend we’ve been in a slumber. Jobs have been growing since 2010. It’s great jobs grew this month. But why lie about the past decade when you don’t even have to? Makes no sense to me.

Decade-long slumber? False. The economy is in its ninth year of expansion—the second longest on record. Began under President Obama in 2009. Wage growth is still barely keeping pace with inflation, so nothing to crow about. Nice try.pic.twitter.com/g68Herz54b

Good number of new jobs but it shouldn’t convince anyone that trump is brilliant (LOL!) — Obama’s monthly average was somewhat better anyway. We need to vote out the republicans who have enabled Crazytown!
