Man, you take money from gun lobbyists and prop up a hate mongering demagogue... you shoulder a portion of the blame for this event by actively fostering an environment for it to occur.

When are you going to call out the president for inciting violence?

And the orange Guy blamed the victims for not having an armed guard. Babbling Babin, just shut it down.

“Thoughtful, collegial discourse is a foundational principle of our Republic. Bigotry and violence is antithetical to our values.” Nice to hear after tragedy, but frankly empty words from a Rep who supports/praises a Pres who lives complete opposite of this quote in his rhetoric.

Meanwhile on your campaign page, you refer to immigrants as an “invading army”. Sometimes, when you use the language of war, people take you at your word.https://twitter.com/babin4congress/status/1055119434250117120?s=21 …

The statement on the campaign site is totally unrelated to the tragedy.
-
No, it’s not. In the context of the bomb scare, what’s clear is that the rhetoric calling certain people “enemies” and the like is being taken literally by some.
-
Unfortunately, the US has some enemies. Naming them as such has nothing to do with such tragic shootings such as the one at the synagogue l.
-
All this “Soros” and “globalist” conspiracy stuff, coming from the top (DJT) on down, has nothing to do with today? Have you seen the suspect’s thoughts on the matter?
-
It is sad but I see such rhetoric on both sides. However, I dont think the language on Congressman Babin's site has anything to do with the synagogue tragedy.
-
I think you’re missing the point. He’s in league with the people spewing this hateful rhetoric, and does little if anything to dial it back. Starting with the President.
-
If anything, I have seen "hateful rhetoric" and actions coming from many prominent liberals. Senator Cruz was shouted out of a restaurant and senators were shouted at in elevators, etc.

You know what else is antithetical to thoughtful, collegial discourse? Weak gun laws that allows weapons of war into the hands of far right-wing extremists.
@NRA gave you a contribution. How about you back up these words, give that money back, and champion stricter gun laws.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

What good is it... if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose [someone] without clothes and daily food. If one of YOU says..., “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their... needs, what good is it? James 2:14-16

Then do something beyond tweets, you craven man. Time for thoughts and prayers is OVER. Stand up to the
@NRA and restrict gun ownership. Massacres like this are not happening in Japan or the UK.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
