12 years ago, the Supreme Court ruled that states could choose whether or not to expand Medicaid. 12 states, including Georgia, still refuse to do so, leaving over 4 million Americans uninsured.
Today I introduced the Medicaid Saves Lives Act to address that coverage gap.

Yesterday a study confirmed that the highest amounts of crippling debt owing to medical care are in states that refused to expand Medicaid.
(jftr, that part of the historic ACA ruling, which was a compromise that probably saved the Act itself, remains logically indefensible.)

Thank you! Texas is one of these states and while my daughter is finishing school she needs this to be passed.
For her and everyone else in her situation!

Aug 2020, 53% of Missourians voted for expanding Medicaid. #MoLeg wouldn’t fund it, folks sued. Today unanimously revived expansion

I'm one of these working poor GA residents that is uninsured as a result. They want to privatize it all. Seriously, pay more to insure less. It's infuriating. I do have insurance to make sure I don't have more children though.

Following you now. I am an EXGOP living in Dallas. We can’t give away everything but basic common decency is not too much to ask. No one goes hungry, no homeless, basic essential medical. Kudos to your platform.
