No President should have the power to launch attacks on any nation without first receiving authorization from Congress. In fact, it’s illegal and no one person should hold this much power.https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/13/world/middleeast/trump-strikes-syria-attack.html …

Did you object when Obama sent 2800 airstrikes against Syria & Iraq without Congressional approval OR the help of other nations? The President is the Commander in Chief. Trump has the intel and did his due diligence. He did ONE targeted raid on the WEAPONS in Syria.

Your comments are very much appreciated @RepBonnie. It is time for you and your wonderful staff to familiarize yourselves with the various Peace Movement initiatives. We must work together on these issues. - Thanks - Jan

I would stay that Congress should have acted prior to this to protect the lives of the innocents in Syria. I do not disapprove of dimwit's actions. We've been through this before about 75 years ago. How'd that go? Less sanctimony, please. @CoryBooker @SenatorMenendez

Actually it’s not. The President didn’t declare war on Syria, simply conducted a missile strike.
