The House passed H.R. 1 last year which includes a provision to make election day a national holiday. Election day is a State Holiday in NJ. NJ will be doing vote-by-mail this year to mitigate the spread of coronavirus. You should be receiving your primary ballot soon.

In pretty good shape (at least better than most other states) when it comes to these issues. We lean extremely progressive all things considering and have leaders who GET IT. But I’m watching my friends in GA spend 5 hours in line to vote. Should I be asking my N.J. assembly
