I agree. What can I, as a citizen of NJ, do to make this happen? Who do I have to call, what petition do I have to sign? Additionally, I would like election day to be a federal holiday so e/o is off to vote. At the very least, I would like that to be the case in NJ.
The House passed H.R. 1 last year which includes a provision to make election day a national holiday. Election day is a State Holiday in NJ. NJ will be doing vote-by-mail this year to mitigate the spread of coronavirus. You should be receiving your primary ballot soon.
