While I voted for this bill, I hear from constituents daily and the message is clear: it's not enough. It does nothing for frontline workers – not just nurses & doctors, but nursing home staff, grocery store clerks, transportation and warehouse workers still showing up every day.

The solution won't come from funding large institutions. It will come from people receiving direct universal recurring payments of $1,000-$2,000, at least until we stabilize our communities. You might disproportionately empower black women as a result too!
