I’ve heard some rumors and falsehoods around the $1200 stimulus checks. The Truth: - it’s not coming out of next years tax return - you don’t have to pay it back (it’s not a loan) - I know it’s not enough for many of you and I’m working to secure more.

Did I hear Mnuchin correctly in that the checks have actually not started going out yet because... blah blah bullshit we want people to sign up for bank deposit blah blah... but anyway... have they not started mailing checks?

How does one even become eligible for the stimulus check? Because when I went onto the IRS website to check the status of my payment, I got the message below: "We cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time".pic.twitter.com/qox6jOTfAK

To be eligible you must have a Social Security Number and have an income below $99k for single filers and $198k for couples filing jointly. If you fit into this category this may be an error that people checking on their status have run into. Keep trying.

Thank you, Rep. Coleman. This is pretty upsetting when the $$ doesn't go to those who are really in need. My daughter's employer is a genuine small business with about 30 employees, all who are trying to keep the business afloat.https://popular.info/p/a-raw-deal

It’s no secret this pandemic has tested the limits of our systems. While we're processing 1000s of claims per hour, we know that's of little consequence if yours isn’t one of them. We've been working nonstop to fix the common problems weighing the system to bring you relief. 1/10 pic.twitter.com/DgEy9iVyf8
